Quality childcare is a real expense, and many Tucson families qualify for help paying for it. Kidz-Zona accepts child care assistance from the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES). Tuition details are shared during your tour. If you are not sure where to start, call us at (520) 849-7600 and we will help.
DES Child Care Assistance
How To Qualify
The Arizona Department of Economic Security helps eligible families pay for childcare so parents and guardians can work, go to school, or take part in other approved activities. Assistance is available for:
- Low-income working families
- Teen parents enrolled in high school, GED, ESOL, or remedial education programs
- Residents of homeless or domestic violence shelters
- Parents unable to care for their children due to a physical, mental, or emotional condition
- Grandparents and guardians caring for a child whose parent does not live in the home
- Families receiving DES Cash Assistance, or referred by a DES Jobs Program or the Arizona Department of Child Safety
Eligibility is decided by DES, not by Kidz-Zona Learning Center.
