Our Approach To Learning

Learning at this age does not look like sitting still. It looks like a one-year-old stacking a block for the twelfth time, a two-year-old naming a color out loud for the first time, and a Pre-K student explaining why the seed on the windowsill needs water.

Every classroom at Kidz-Zona, from our infants to our Pre-K, follows Experience Curriculum. In Preschool and Pre-K we add a second, academic curriculum developed by our own team to get children ready for kindergarten. Teachers guide, extend, and record what they see, and each child's progress is tracked individually so learning moves at their pace.

Experience Curriculum

Formerly Mother Goose Time, For Infants To Age 5

Experience Curriculum is a research-based curriculum built on child-directed, play-based learning. Every month, new hands-on materials arrive built around a theme, such as Me and My Community or Nature, and our teachers bring them to life in every classroom.

Our Kindergarten Readiness Curriculum

Developed At Kidz-Zona For Preschool And Pre-K

Alongside Experience Curriculum, our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms follow an academic curriculum developed by our own team. It is built for one goal: children who walk into kindergarten ready and eager to learn. Teachers share assessment results with parents so you always know how your child is progressing.

Follow Your Child's Learning Journey

Through the Brightwheel app you get updates, photos, and messages from your child's teacher right on your phone. Enrolled families can also look in on their child's classroom through WatchMeGrow, secure, password-protected live video.
